PocketMac® FAQ PocketMac® is a software package that runs on Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther") or higher and PDAs running the Microsoft Pocket PC Operating system (Pocket PC 2000 or newer). PocketMac® connects Macintosh computers and Pocket PC PDAs, enabling them to share/synchronize data with each other. 1.3 Is PocketMac® available now? Yes. 1.4 How can I get PocketMac® and how much does it cost? http://store.esellerate.net/pocketmac/buypro 1.5 Do you have any resellers near me? At the time of this writing, we do not yet have any official resellers. Therefore, the best way to obtain the software is still directly from us at http://store.esellerate.net/pocketmac/buypro 1.6 Is there a demo/trial version? There is now a demo of Pro 3.0 available here. 1.7 Who is responsible for PocketMac®? An entire team of very talented software developers has worked to create PocketMac®. 1.8 Why is PocketMac® necessary? If you love your Mac, and you love your Pocket PC, you probably would like a way to get them talking to each other. 1.9 Does PocketMac® turn my Pocket PC into a Mac? We do offer the PocketMac® Theme, which does this. 1.10 How can I as a Mac user get comfortable with my Pocket PC? We offer a PDF document called "The Mac User's Guide to Pocket PCs" that can help. It explains the Pocket PC in terms of the Macintosh. 1.11 Is PocketMac® available in languages other than English? Not yet. This will probably take place after the release of the Pro Edition. We're working on it, but we don't have any specific dates yet. 1.13 Are the PocketMac® manuals, support documents, etc. available in languages other than English? Not yet. However, we do speak
Spanish and Italian fairly well, so if you need support in those languages,
please feel free to write to us in Spanish or Italian.
We expect and hope to support a number of additional languages in the near future. 1.15 Can I get the software on CD? Yes, the software is available on CD for a small additional charge.
