October 6th, 2003:
- Theme installer: "Not a valid Windows CE CAB file" message
fixed. Fix emailed.
- Connection issues with Hitachi G1000 and Samsung i700 Phones
fixed. A new driver is available upon request. (Included in the 3.2f
Update.) Just run the installer and restart the Mac; that
should take care of any remaining issues.
- XML document error on Pocket PC when synching. There are
four potential
causes for this:
- POTENTIAL CAUSE: Entourage version is not 10.1.6.
FIX: Updating to Entourage 10.1.6 by downloading updates from
Microsoft's Entourage pages at http://www.microsoft.com/mac.
or
- POTENTIAL CAUSE: Entourage files missing.
FIX: This
can be fixed by updating to Entourage 10.1.6 and the installing the
Microsoft Entourage Handheld Synchronization 10.1.6. (Please note this
is a separate download from 10.1.6.)
or
- POTENTIAL CAUSE: Permissions incorrectly set on your home folder's
Library/Application
Support folder (that is, /Users/[yourname]/Library/Application
Support). This can be checked/fixed by doing a "Get
Info" on that same folder. The owner should be you, and everyone should have read &
write access to the folder.
FIX: From within Finder, do a "Get Info" on that
folder. Expand the "Ownership & Permissions" section.
Change the settings there so that you are listed as the owner, and so
that each group has read and write access. Apply the changes. Then, open
that folder and create a new folder called PocketMac.
or
- POTENTIAL CAUSE: Default Folder X Haxie. Some of the "haxie"
applications, specifically some versions of Default Folder X, may cause
parts of PocketMac® to fail.
FIX: Please disable the Default folder X Haxie and log in/log
out.
