Phil Carraro -- At long last, I finally succeeded a few minutes ago in reinstalling the sync between my Blackberry 8900 and my Apple PowerBookG4 with the pleasant assistance of Rayven.
When I acquired the 8900 in mid-2009, I successfully installed the Sync Manger and it remained operative for about 5-6 weeks and then would not sync. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling without luck and in the intervening period was distracted by a number of events until yesterday when I arranged an appointment through your support function.
I am very pleased indeed to now report that with Rayven's patient and clear assistance my problem is now resolved. It took about 1 hour 34 minutes to uninstall quite a few files/reinstall Pocketmac etc. When I first tried to open the Sync ikon, it did not, which prompted Rayven to immediately direct me to install itunes, which I had not done previously as I do not use it.
Once itunes was installed, the sync proceeded without hitch. My compliments to your colleague, excellent phone skills complimented by strong technical competence. Many thanx, Phil Carraro
